Accounting Technician
Our clients, a well-established Waterford-based accountancy practice providing a full suite of professional services to individuals and SMEs is seeking an Accounting Technician to join its team. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician (qualified or with relevant experience) to join their team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting on various client audits
- Preparation of statutory accounts on behalf of clients
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis of same
- VAT and Corporation Tax returns
- Maintaining and building client relationships
Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in Bright Accounts Production
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Sage Payroll
- Experience with Sage 50 and/or Xero
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and client-facing skills
