Logistics Coordinator
Our fast-growing client with operations based in Ireland, UK & North America are seeking a Logistics Administrator to joins its head-office based in Waterford. The successful candidate will be a central point of contact, directly shaping the service experience for our customers. It's also a great opportunity to build broad, practical logistics and supply chain experience. This is a fast-paced and highly collaborative role. You will work closely with the sales team, suppliers, hauliers, customers and logistics colleagues, acting as a central point of communication within the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage customer orders received from the sales team
- Coordinate with suppliers to arrange direct (drop shipment) deliveries
- Schedule and arrange transport with hauliers and logistics partners
- Monitor delivery timelines and proactively resolve delays or issues
- Ensure accurate timely processing of orders within the ERP system
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Maintain high levels of customer service and communication
- Support continuous improvement of logistics processes
Skills & Experience
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related administrative role is helpful but we're happy to hear from strong candidates keen to develop in this area.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with ERP systems (an advantage)
