New role for a Maintenance Technician with Electrical or Instrumentation background in a growing FMCG company.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Principle responsibilities will include the following:
- Troubleshoot and rectify machine breakdowns and performance issues.
- Prioritise this work to ensure minimum loss of production time.
- Communicate and co-operate with Maintenance Management, Production Management, Machine Operators and other Technicians
- Perform & support project work, preventative maintenance and continual improvement initiatives as and when required
The Ideal candidate will have
- Trade qualification essential (electrical /instrumentation)
- Fault finding experience essential
- Ability to work on own initiative essential
- Strong electro-mechanical background essential
- Shift pattern essential
- Manufacturing environment desirable
- Welding experience desirable
- Refrigeration experience desirable
